The Black River is one of the longest rivers in Jamaica. At a length of 53.4km (33miles). Its name refers to the darkness of the river bed caused by thick layers of decomposing vegetation. Little Ochi – Alligator Pond
A trip to Little Ochi in Alligator Pond is a real Jamaican experience. The restaurant opens out on to the beach which is full of secluded tables, covered in thick thatch. Several tables are elevated on stilts and one is in the shape of a boat.
